What is a virtual assistant - and what are the benefits of using one?

VAs offer specialised services remotely. Common services include administrative tasks, bookkeeping, copywriting, marketing, payroll management, virtual reception… there are hundreds of tasks you can delegate to a VA depending on their skills and your requirements.

Don't VAs only do administrative tasks?

While some virtual assistants specialise in administrative tasks, just about any service you require can be outsourced to a VA.  Of course, no one VA can do everything, but if they don’t have the expertise you need they will either upskill or outsource to an expert in the area. Many VAs have a network of trusted colleagues they collaborate with. 

Vital VA Services specialises in communications (copywriting and content), client support and administration, and providing wellbeing initiatives. I have a curious nature and love learning, so I’m continually learning new skills.

If I hire you as a VA, what does working together look like?

The first step is to get in touch so we can see whether working together is a good fit.
Then I’ll spend some time getting to understand you, your business and your clients to ensure the services I provide meet your objectives and your budget.

I can work with you on an ongoing basis,  ad hoc or one-off projects. Whichever option best suits your needs, the process will be handled professionally with a service agreement clearly outlining the services I’ll provide, fees and other important aspects.

What health & wellbeing modalities do you support?

I work with clients across all health and wellbeing modalities, and from solo practitioners or solopreneurs, to small teams and large practices.

My clients might work in allied health, complementary therapies or in the medical/clinical area. Or they may be in a workplace or community group and looking for help organising wellbeing initiatives.

Do you only work with health professionals?

No!  I have more than twenty years experience in communications and client support/administration, and more recently wellbeing, and have experience in corporate, not-for-profit, small business, private enterprise, government, in-house and agency roles. And my partner is a tradie, so I’m confident of providing a great outcome for you whatever industry or sector you’re in.

I actually enjoy writing. Can you just do the 'boring bits' for me?

Absolutely! I know that many business owners enjoy the writing process or creating content, and you have a wealth of valuable knowledge to share with your clients or customers.

If you prefer to create content yourself I can manage posting content across your social media profiles, and/or updating your website and blog. I proofread all content and can suggest minor tweaks.

Or I can create content from scratch after talking with you and getting to know you, your business and your clients.

Yes, we can! Some clients want help on ongoing (daily, weekly, monthly) basis while others have more ad hoc requirements.

I need help with something that's not listed in your services

My areas of expertise are communications (copywriting and content creation), client support/administration and wellbeing initiatives but I’m continually upgrading and learning new skills. I can also call on other trusted and highly skilled VAs to assist with tasks I’m not an expert in.

So if there’s something you need help with  and it’s not specified on my services page, please get in touch – chances are I can still help you.
